Terms of Service

These Terms govern your access to MOTRUE, including product search, listing, referral-code, translation, voice and merchant membership services.

Effective: August 4, 2026

1. Acceptance and eligibility

By creating an account, purchasing a membership, or using MOTRUE, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. You confirm that you are legally capable of entering into this agreement and that you use the service for lawful business purposes.

The service is operated by MOTRUE / 机油佬 Platform Operator (the “Operator,” “MOTRUE,” “we,” or “us”). If you use MOTRUE for a company or shop, you confirm that you are authorized to bind that business.

2. What MOTRUE does — and does not do

MOTRUE is an information, search, product-display and business-connection platform for automotive parts. It helps merchants publish products and helps sales users search models, view merchant-set price ranges and manage referral-code relationships.

MOTRUE is not the buyer, seller, broker, inspection agency, repairer, installer, carrier, escrow agent or payment guarantor in any offline transaction. Negotiation, inspection, delivery, installation, payment, invoicing, warranty, returns and disputes are handled directly by the relevant users outside the platform unless we expressly state otherwise.

3. Product, fitment and AI information

Prices, availability, descriptions, photos and videos are supplied or confirmed by merchants. Search, translation, image recognition, model aliases, sales copy, voice and vehicle-fitment material may be generated or organized by automated systems and public sources.

A vehicle shown for an engine means only that the engine model was reported as factory-installed in that vehicle. It does not mean that an entire engine assembly, wiring harness, control unit, transmission, accessories or mounting parts can be exchanged or installed without modification.

You must independently verify the exact model, part number, condition, completeness, dimensions and compatibility before quoting, purchasing, selling or installing a product. MOTRUE does not guarantee accuracy, completeness, current inventory, merchant performance or a successful transaction.

4. Accounts and permitted use

  • You must provide accurate account information and keep your password secure.
  • You are responsible for activity performed through your account and must promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
  • You may not share, sell or rent access, impersonate another person, bypass role or language controls, or use the service unlawfully.
  • You may not scrape, crawl, bulk-extract, mirror, reverse engineer, probe, overload, automate queries without written permission, or use MOTRUE data to build a competing database or service.

We may rate-limit, suspend, restrict or terminate accounts, searches or content where we reasonably believe abuse, fraud, security risk, non-payment or a breach of these Terms has occurred.

5. Merchant obligations and content

Merchants are solely responsible for the legality, accuracy and current status of their listings, prices, product types and uploaded media. A merchant must have all rights and permissions needed to upload and display its content.

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant MOTRUE a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license, for as long as reasonably needed to operate the service, to host, store, resize, watermark, display, translate, transcribe and otherwise process that content for platform functions and promotion of the listed product.

We may remove or restrict content that is unlawful, misleading, duplicative, technically harmful, rights-infringing or inconsistent with platform rules.

6. Membership fees, activation and refunds

Merchant membership is a digital information service. Package price, duration, product limits and included features are shown before payment. Service normally starts after full payment is verified. Partial or unverifiable payments do not activate the package.

ALL MEMBERSHIP, RENEWAL AND UPGRADE FEES ARE FINAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE ONCE THE PURCHASED DIGITAL SERVICE OR PACKAGE RIGHT HAS BEEN ACTIVATED, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW. A change of mind, lack of use, failure to upload products, failure to obtain referral codes, an unsuccessful offline transaction, account suspension caused by your breach, or dissatisfaction with a third-party service does not create a refund right.

The limited exceptions are where mandatory law requires a refund, MOTRUE fails to activate the purchased service after receiving verified full payment, or the same payment was duplicated or reversed in error. Any approved exception is limited to the affected amount. Membership rights, service balances and reward opportunities cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred or resold unless MOTRUE expressly permits it in writing.

Third-party checkout and payment services may apply their own terms. A payment record does not make MOTRUE a party to a later offline product transaction.

7. Referral codes and rewards

A referral code creates a platform relationship between a merchant and a sales user and may unlock visibility of that merchant’s listings and merchant-defined commission information. Merchant commissions are negotiated and settled offline; MOTRUE does not calculate, collect, guarantee or resolve those commissions.

A platform membership reward is available only when the conditions shown in the reward program are satisfied and our records verify eligibility. Qualification, order verification, duplicate checks, payment status and payout details may be reviewed before payment. No reward is earned merely by generating or entering a code.

8. Service availability and changes

The service is provided on an “as available” basis. Maintenance, networks, third-party providers, public data sources and automated systems may cause delays, errors or interruptions. We may add, change or discontinue features, models, limits and providers where reasonably necessary.

We will use reasonable efforts to protect data and restore service, but we do not promise uninterrupted access or that every query, image, translation or voice request will succeed.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MOTRUE is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential loss, lost profit, lost opportunity, loss caused by an offline transaction, incorrect fitment, installation, merchant conduct or reliance on automated or third-party information.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the amount you paid directly to MOTRUE for the affected service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, willful misconduct or any right that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

10. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you will compensate MOTRUE for reasonable losses, claims and expenses caused by your unlawful conduct, infringement of another person’s rights, misleading listing, unauthorized content, or material breach of these Terms.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, without excluding mandatory protections that apply to you. Please contact us first so we can attempt to resolve a concern. If no resolution is reached, either party may submit the dispute to a court with lawful jurisdiction.

12. Platform rules and interpretation

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MOTRUE has the final operational authority to administer and reasonably interpret platform rules, membership features, product limits, referral-code status, reward eligibility, anti-abuse measures, technical records, campaigns and other matters not expressly fixed by mandatory law.

MOTRUE may rely on its server, payment-verification, audit and account records when resolving an operational question. We may correct an obvious error, duplicate reward, fraudulent result or system malfunction even after an earlier automated display.

This interpretation clause does not give MOTRUE authority to override mandatory law, a binding decision of a court or regulator, or any user right that cannot lawfully be waived.

13. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms for legal, security, operational or product reasons. We will publish the updated version and effective date and, where required, provide additional notice or request renewed consent. Continued use after an effective update means acceptance only to the extent permitted by law.
