Privacy Policy
This Policy explains what MOTRUE collects, why it is used, how long it is kept, who may process it and the choices available to you.
Effective: August 4, 2026
1. Who is responsible
MOTRUE / 机油佬 Platform Operator (“MOTRUE,” “we,” or “us”) is responsible for the personal information processed through this platform. Contact us at [email protected].
2. Information we collect
Account and identity information
Email address, nickname, preferred language, account roles, verification status and a securely hashed password. We do not store your plain-text password.
Merchant, sales and product information
Merchant name and logo, membership and payment-verification records, referral codes and relationships, commission settings, product models, types, prices, weight, volume, descriptions, photos, videos, translations and generated voice files.
Search and usage records
Search terms and normalized models, uploaded recognition images, candidate and selected results, result state, clicks, viewed products, language choices, timestamps and feature interactions. We use these records to return results, prevent abuse, improve matching and produce aggregated market and industry analytics.
Network and device information
We collect IP addresses, approximate location inferred from IP, browser or device information, request identifiers, security logs and essential session-cookie data. We use them for sign-in, security, fraud prevention, rate limits, troubleshooting, audit and service delivery.
For anti-abuse measurement, each event remains linked to the internal account identifier so that authorized administrators can investigate misuse and correct mistakes. Session, query and IP identifiers are converted into keyed, non-public digests before they are stored in the security-event record. These digests help us recognize repeated or automated activity without publishing the underlying session, query or IP identifiers.
Leads and communications
If a requested model is unavailable, we may collect nationality, requested model and the contact method you choose to provide, such as WhatsApp or WeChat. We also keep support requests, notifications and related delivery records.
Payout information
If you claim a platform reward, we collect the bank-account number, account-holder name, bank name, payout amount and relevant payment-order numbers needed to verify and make the payout. Bank details are sensitive personal information.
3. How we use information
- Create and secure accounts, verify email, manage sessions and recover passwords.
- Provide search, model matching, listing, translation, voice, referral-code and merchant membership functions.
- Verify payments, package rights and platform reward eligibility, and prevent duplicate or fraudulent claims.
- Display merchant-approved products and content to authorized sales users and customer-display sessions.
- Operate, troubleshoot, measure, secure and improve the platform.
- Create statistics and industry reports using aggregated or de-identified information where reasonably possible.
- Comply with law, respond to lawful requests and establish or defend legal claims.
4. Images, AI and automated processing
When you use image recognition, submitted images and related model text may be sent to the configured artificial-intelligence provider to identify likely part models. Recognition images are retained for no more than 24 hours and are then scheduled for deletion, except where a longer period is required for security, a legal claim or law.
Product text may be sent to configured AI, translation or text-to-speech providers. Public web-search services may be used to find model aliases, fitment references and vehicle media. Automated output can be inaccurate. It assists search and presentation and is not used by itself to make a legal or similarly significant decision about you.
5. Cookies
We currently use an essential secure session cookie to keep you signed in, protect account access and remember the active session. It is not an advertising cookie. Blocking it may prevent login and other core functions. If we later add non-essential analytics or advertising cookies, we will update this Policy and request consent where required.
If you install MOTRUE on your home screen, the installed web app opens the same online service and uses the same essential session and security controls. The current version does not store an offline copy of the product catalogue, prices, referral-code rights or engine-reference database on your device.
6. Sensitive information
Bank-account information is collected only when needed for a reward payout. We ask you to review and confirm the full details, encrypt them in storage, restrict access to authorized operations staff and disclose them only to processors needed to complete and verify the payout.
Where the law requires separate consent for sensitive information or a particular processing activity, the relevant screen will ask for that consent separately. You may decline, but we may then be unable to provide the associated payout or feature.
7. When information is shared
We do not sell personal information. We may provide the minimum necessary information to service providers acting for us, including:
- Cloud hosting, content delivery, storage and security providers, including Cloudflare and our VPS hosting provider.
- Email delivery and authorized operations-mailbox providers.
- Checkout and payment-verification providers, including Youzan.
- Configured AI, translation and voice providers, including image/text models and Fish Audio.
- Search providers used to locate public model and vehicle information.
- Professional advisers, regulators, courts or law-enforcement bodies where legally required.
Some providers may process information outside your country. Where cross-border processing is regulated, we will provide any additional notice, safeguard or separate consent required by applicable law.
8. Retention
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose described above, platform security, dispute handling and legal obligations.
- Recognition images: up to 24 hours, subject to the limited exceptions above.
- Account and active product information: while the account or service remains active and during any disclosed post-expiry preservation period.
- Search and usage records: for service improvement, security and aggregated industry analysis, then deleted or de-identified when no longer reasonably needed.
- Detailed anti-abuse event summaries: up to 30 days. Daily aggregated security statistics that no longer contain the original query text: up to 180 days.
- Payment, reward, consent and audit records: for the period required by law and reasonably necessary to prevent duplicate payments and handle claims.
- Backups: until they are securely rotated or overwritten under our backup cycle.
9. Security
We use access controls, encryption or hashing where appropriate, restricted administrative permissions, audit records and security monitoring. No system is completely secure. If a personal-information incident occurs, we will investigate, contain it and provide notice where required by law.
10. Your rights and account closure
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, a copy of, correction of or deletion of your personal information; withdraw consent; restrict or object to certain processing; and request account closure. You can change certain account details inside the platform.
For other requests, email [email protected] from your registered address. We may verify your identity before acting. We may retain limited records where law, security, payment verification or a legal claim requires it, and will explain any refusal permitted by law.
11. Children
MOTRUE is a business service and is not intended for children. Do not create an account or submit personal information if you are not legally able to use the service.
12. Policy changes
We may update this Policy when our service, providers or legal obligations change. We will publish the new effective date and provide additional notice or renewed consent where required. Material new uses will not be applied retroactively without a lawful basis.
